A recent rumour suggests that the Cupertino based tech giant has hired senior executive of Lamborghini for its Apple Car project. In the past, many reports suggest that Apple is working on a project, codenamed as “Titan”.
Though the tech giant has not officially revealed anything about the project but it is said that around 5000 employees are working at this project. In the year 2019, it was reported that Apple had acquired an autonomous vehicle startup called Drive.ai. The car could be battery operated, programmed with Artificial Intelligence for its unique features and could challenge the world’s biggest electric car making company Tesla.
In November 2015, the former iPod Senior Vice-President Tony Fadell confirmed that Steve Jobs was interested in an Apple Car somewhere in 2008, after the release of iPhone. A board member from Apple had also claimed that Jobs always wanted to design and build a car.
Though it is said that the car could make its first debut in the year 2024 but analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that it will not launch before 2025 or maybe more than that.
